The farm machinery cooperative offers its 200,000 agricultural member companies diverse services for their businesses, such as modern agricultural technology or social assistance in case of illness. With over 1 billion in turnover, the network acts as a buying group and makes it possible to provide its famers with discounts from a diverse range of partner companies. A complete relaunch was implemented for the farm machinery cooperative's website. The new website was meant to act as a digital contact point for the farmers and also as the central eCommerce platform for the purchasing of goods. The focus for that was the newly created online sales of over 35,000 partner products.
For the shop area, a new eCommerce system was set up based on Magento and connected to the partners' various goods management systems. For the editorial areas, a TYPO3 system was implemented and was managed by the clients themselves after it was initially filled and they received training for the CMS. Various tools were also created, such as the real-time display of weather and stock data. Conception, design, content creation and programming were completed completely in-house.
