Berlin, November 26th, 2015 – Energetic, caring and in touch with the times: That’s what the partnership between the betterplace lab and SAINT ELMO’S is all about. This pro-bono cooperation is starting to show results: The agency group has developed a whole new name and look for the trend report from betterplace lab, the research division of the betterplace.orgdonation platform.
The “trendradar”, the future name of the trend report, collects the most exciting and socially relevant digital trends worldwide and puts them in one place. They’ll be processed on the new trendradar.org platform, which is being developed under SAINT ELMO’S guidance. The colorful new look for trendradar fascinates with a constantly changing logo and helps express the company’s position as a social trend scout in a modern way. The trendradar is also published in book format once a year.
“For us, a cooperation with the betterplace lab was an obvious choice.” according to Dennis Pfisterer, Chief Innovation Officer of the SAINT ELMO'S Group. “Our motto is ‘cross the line’: Our philosophy is thinking without borders and always finding new ways for successful communication. By researching new trends, the betterplace lab follows a very similar approach. That’s why it works. Supporting others and doing something good gives us a good feeling, too.”
“We noticed immediately that we were on the same page with SAINT ELMO’S”, confirms Moritz Eckert, cofounder of betterplace.org. “SAINT ELMO’S understood our approach and really brought in what we were missing. We’re happy to have gained an agency partner that shares our attitude, our way of thinking and our ambition and above all one with the creativity to realize things perfectly.”
The first result of the partnership could be seen at the betterplace labtogether on November 20th, 2015 in Berlin, where the new print version of the trendradar was presented. The central topics at the premier conference about digital innovation for good causes were “The Future of Work”, “Digital Help for Refugees” and “The Internet of Things”. More than 250 thought leaders from the fields of science, economics, politics and civil society discussed the potential of digitalization. The new online platform trendradar.org launched in January 2016.
