Even in a city like Munich, many children live in poverty and are thankful for any support. On the first of November 2018 the munich based children charity Organisation “Children for a better world” launched the project Munich Childhoodie. Munich residents and friends of the city can get involved and not only showcase their love for the city but also help children in need. From every purchased Hoodie 10 € go directly to the organisation, that was founded in 1994 by Gabriele Quandt and Dr. Florian Langenscheidt. The proceeds benefit Munich based children and youth centers, like for example the „Lichtblick Hasenbergl“. The idea of the Munich Childhoodie was brought to life by Saint Elmo’s Munich. The agency that has supplied „Children for a better World“ for several years with creative concepts.
„Charity initiatives are often based on sadness and feeling sorry. We want to create something that is fun and promotes solidarity. With SKMST we have found an ideal partner and are looking forward to establish the Munich Childhoodie as a longterm and cool statement for Munich, resulting in a lot of donations.” – Arwed Berendts, Managing Partner Creation of Saint Elmo’s Munich.
The Munich Childhoodie is available for purchase via www.skmst.de or in the SKMST STORE, Baaderstraße 84, 80469 München
The project Munich Childhoodie is officially supported by the city of Munich by generously approving the usage of the design of the municipal coat of arms.
