"DER Summer wird himmlisch!” The irresistible slogan for the sweepstakes of DER Deutsches Reisebüro is a play on words, which translates as “THE summer is just heavenly!”. In collaboration with the travel agency, SAINT ELMO'S presented twelve travel deals to increase the summer sell-off for the June/July 2014 promotional period. Customers could win a trip to Fuerteventura by booking a special offer directly from the travel agency. 40,000 existing customers and 130,000 prospective customers were encouraged to book their personal dream vacation through mail and email. The event was supported by POS activities such as window displays. Ads and a strong Internet presence on Facebook and DER's website were also part of the campaign. The heavenly results will be announced after the promotion ends in August.
