For the medium-sized mineral oil group of associated companies AVIA, a fully comprehensive website relaunch was realized. The central focus was the online sales of all energy products. For this purpose, the website was expanded to include an eCommerce platform that could then be used to order all kinds of products directly online. Convenient checkout processes with regionalized pricing guided the users directly to the most suitable offer and led to an immediate transaction. A new gas station search with route planner and realtime pricing was also included for over 800 AVIA gas stations.
The implementation based on TYPO3 was completed with responsive design for tablets and desktops. An adaptive smartphone version was also developed in order to guarantee the best possible experience for mobile users. Conception, design and front-end programming were all completed in-house.
